The project aims to improve the well-aging, prevention of dependency and the improvement of the quality of life through personalized nutritional guidance for young seniors. This project targets people ranging in age from 60 to 70 years so young seniors.To carry out this project, the NUTERGIA laboratory works in partnership with Toulouse Business School and the SME Cartoon Design.
The Toulouse Business School Research Center brings its expertise in sociology and marketing for a better understanding of the expectations and needs of seniors. TBS Research Centre will carry out a socio-anthropological study in two stages. In a first step, the researchers will conduct a literature review on seniors and their food, their nutritional deficiencies and practices known in food supplementation. Secondly, a study combining observation and interaction with the people at home and during shopping will be conducted in order to better understand their relationship to food.
This project is funded by the FEDER-FSE Operational Programme 2014-2020 as part of the call for projects EASYNOV 2015-SILVER ECONOMY of the Occitanie Region. The duration of the project is from September 2017 to February 2018.
