TBS Education Bachelor in Management program is announcing the launch of its new Finance and Banking track starting next academic year. This program, accessible in the third year, is designed to train future experts in the financial sector. It will be taught in English in Paris and offers exceptional opportunities, both in terms of further studies and professional placement. The specialization will focus in particular on financial analysis, credit analysis, and bank risk management.

What is the goal of the Finance and Banking track?

To specialize in the third year and obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Management (equivalent to a 3-year university degree / Bachelor’s level) with a focus on finance and banking.

Why choose the Finance and Banking track?

This third-year specialization guarantees immediate employability after the Bachelor’s degree by equipping students with essential skills to excel in the financial and banking sectors. Inspired by the content of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1, the program is aligned with international standards, providing a strong foundation for a successful career in finance.

For students wishing to deepen their knowledge and enhance their expertise, the Finance and Banking track will also serve as a gateway to specialized graduate studies. It is an ideal preparation for Master’s programs in finance, risk management, financial analysis, or fintech. Moreover, the solid foundations acquired through this training will support the preparation for professional certifications such as the CFA, a benchmark in the financial industry.

Students will acquire:

  • In-depth knowledge of how banks operate and are regulated
  • Mastery of corporate finance theories and their practical applications
  • Hands-on experience with statistical and programming tools (Python, VBA) used in financial data processing
  • Awareness of ethical issues and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria in finance and banking
  • An intuitive understanding of the interaction between economics and finance
  • Practical skills through case studies, alumni presentations, and financial data analysis projects

A structured and career-oriented pathway

The Finance and Banking track at TBS Education will offer coursework tailored to industry demands, including the following modules:

  • Ethics, ESG, and Governance
  • Financial Analysis for Project and Company Valuation
  • Bonds and Credit Analysis
  • Economics
  • Investment and Banking
  • Advanced Corporate Finance (with a focus on structuring)
  • Tools: Programming (Python, VBA) and Credit Analysis Cases

Ethics and ESG at the heart of the program

As responsible finance becomes increasingly important, a dedicated module on professional ethics has been included. Students will learn how to handle common ethical dilemmas in finance and adopt a responsible approach to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges.

“Finance and banking careers offer some of the fastest salary progressions in the business world. With this training, graduates will be fully prepared to continue their studies in top Master’s programs or take on strategic roles in banks, asset management firms, financial consulting companies, or fintechs. With the Finance and Banking track, TBS Education offers a program of excellence, paving the way for an ambitious and promising career in the world of finance,” says Patricia Bournet, Director of the TBS Education Bachelor in Management program.

This track will be available at the Paris campus, in English, starting in September 2025.
