The Financial Times Ranking System

The Financial Times is a well-known source of business information, news and services. The Financial Times Rankings section classifies business schools and publishes seven rankings per year, relating to MBA, EMBA, Master in Finance, Master in Management, Online MBA programs, as well as non-degree executive education courses. FT’s interactive rankings tables allow users to search for a school of interest, sort by selected criteria and filter by location.

Programs can be evaluated across a wide range of criteria. The Financial Times ranking system counts 17 different criteria bundled into 3 analytical themes. Data are collected through alumni questionnaires and data on:

  • Alumni career paths: salary, salary increase…
  • Diversity inside the school: students, faculty…
  • International: mobility, classes…
