The TBS Education Summer School is designed to meet the needs of our 240 university partners from around the world. With offer a wide choice of business and management courses at bachelor and master levels while you get the chance to discover Europe while earning ECTS credits towards your degree.

Who can apply?

The TBS Education Summer School is open to students both within and outside our partner university network. With limited spots available, this program aims to deliver high-quality courses on emerging business trends.

what do you need to apply?

It is designed for students enrolled in Higher Education, whether at the Undergraduate or Master’s level. It is also well-suited for Young Professionals and students on a Gap Year. To apply, you will need to submit a cover letter, a CV or resume, proof of English proficiency, your most recent grade transcript, and a copy of your passport.

Summer School Boat Tour

Choose your summer school dates

Embark on a multicultural  experience. You can study 2-weeks in Toulouse, taking one course and earning 7 ECTS or you can opt for a 4-week experience and earn up to 21 ECTS choosing three different courses. Selected students who would like to earn 24 ECTS may ask about our asynchronous intercultural, self-reflection project. 

The academic program focuses on European issues and will be particularly interesting to students (from anywhere in the world) wishing to understand the diversity and complexity of Europe.

*Please check with your local international office about partnership with TBS Education. There may be a specific nomination process to follow or even tuition exemption.
Students from university partners will receive a 250€ discount on the program fees.

This course provides an overview of the use and applications of artificial intelligence in business. Students will learn how AI is changing various industries and the impact it is having on businesses and society. Topics covered will include machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics. The course will also cover ethical and social considerations associated with AI and its use in business.

European Innovation

Innovation has become a key topic for Europe. So much so that the European Union itself officially describes it in their “New European Innovation Agenda” as “essential to drive Europe’s competitiveness and to ensure the health and well-being of its citizens”. The agenda also acknowledges that innovation “shapes markets, transforms economies, stimulates step changes in the quality of public services and is indispensable to achieve the overarching objectives of the twin green and digital transition”.

The explosive growth in the amount of data created in the world by humans and machines continues to accelerate. In this new data-driven business world, leaders need to incorporate data into their decision-making processes in order to gain a competitive edge by: interacting with customers in a more personalized and efficient manner, by designing products and services that perfectly match customers’ fast-changing needs and desires, but also by managing marketing and communication campaigns in real-time.

This course aims to equip participants with the knowledge, tools, and techniques to innovate and develop businesses in a global context. The focus will be on leveraging creativity, design thinking, and business development frameworks while exploring regional nuances in innovation. International Marketing

Ethical leadership is a concept that has gained significant attention in recent years. In a world where ethical concerns arise in various domains, the need for leaders who demonstrate strong moral values and perspectives is paramount (Banks et al., 2020). Ethical leadership involves a set of traits and behaviours which prioritize the well-being and integrity of individuals and communities while upholding the highest standards of honesty, transparency, and fairness.

Cross Cultural & Global HR Management

In a digitalized world like the one we live in; it is impossible to ignore international exchanges. The managers of tomorrow and the students of today will face multi-national group interactions, and the best option one can choose is to be prepared to make them as smooth and effective as possible. In this course, we will explore key concepts and put a name to everyday situations, providing you necessary tools to face cultural interactions with leadership, and in the best way possible.

Project Management

There are few things more relevant for the productivity of a company than the correct management of its projects. Project Management is a discipline whose main objective is to achieve success in projects within the constraints of scope, time, quality, and budget.

To reach these objectives requires: maximum organization, planning, motivation, and resource control. The latter is one of the biggest challenges, since the coordination and optimization in the allocation of resources is a real challenge.

The objective of the course is to help participants to:

  1. Present and conduct a credible business project in a team setting.
  2. Analyze and evaluate real-case studies.
  3. Develop creative decisions using a strategic project management approach.
French Business & Culture

This course aims to broaden spectrum of understanding French culture from history to today and how that impacts the business environment in France and beyond. Students will understand how the elements of culture have affected and influenced iconic French Business from Aerospace to Louis Vuitton, and how we can work more effectively across cultures with a deeper understanding of better integration.

Toulouse, the European Space Capital

Home to the headquarters of Airbus, Toulouse is the European Space capital as well as a capital for technological innovation. The city seeks to become the “French Silicon Valley” and with more than 3,000 companies involved in information technology.
French tech isn’t the only reason to visit the city. The “Ville Rose” is home to UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, Saint-Sernin Basilica and Hôtel-Dieu Saint-Jacques 

The TBS Education Summer School offers a hospitality package which includes housing and public transport ticket for the duration of your stay. Included in the program cost is travel to all excursions and a jam-packed planning of cultural, social and professional activities.

TBS Education works with new, trendy housing providers. While in Toulouse, students will stay within walking distance to the TBS Education Downtown campus in a secure residence. Restaurants and shops will be available close-by and students will have access to services onsite (Front Desk, laundry, common spaces, etc.).

The provided accommodation is close to public transportation and shops in the center. It includes a fully furnished room and private bathroom (with a private or shared kitchen).

The hospitality package also includes a local transportation card for the city allowing you to unlimited travel around in the cities. TBS Education wants you to have an enjoyable summer, so we’ve planned for everything.

Get out of the Classroom & Explore France

Toulouse

Arrive in the Pink City and start your adventure! Students will be accommodated close by the TBS Education Downtown Campus in Toulouse (located at 20 Boulevard Lascrosses). Restaurants, transportation stations, and convenience shops will be within walking distance. Additionally, students will be able to quickly & easily go around Toulouse using their transportation pass. The TBS Summer School Team will also give their best recommendations to enjoy what the city & French culture has best to offer!

Medieval Cities

Carcassonne Day Trip or Albi Day Trip : Network with participants from around the world while visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site at Carcassonne and/or Albi. Students will leave from downtown Toulouse with a private bus to arrive in Carcassonne / Albi. A visit of the medieval city will be included, during which students understand French history and the importance of winemaking in the region.

Company Visits

Understand the French corporate world and what it means to do business in Spain. Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to meet with companies in both countries. These company visits are picked to fit the courses offered during the Summer School, or to get to know major companies and business fundamentals in specific field where France excels.

Kayaking and Canal Du Midi Tour

Discover the Gorges du Tarn while kayaking along the river Tarn just outside Toulouse. The kayaking trip includes departure from Downtown Toulouse with a private bus to reach the canyons in the Tarn region.

Canal du Midi is a 240 km long canal in Southern France and is considered one of the greatest construction works of the 17th century. The canal joins the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy this International historic civil engineering landmark with a leisure boat ride. 

Weekend Away

This year the summer school will offers student a weekend away in a neighboring city such as Bordeau or Montpellier. Announcements on the location will be published soon !

The International Student Office (ISO) assists students with questions regarding the obtention of a visa, arrival inquiries and the online enrollment process.
